At Chapel Gate we take pride in our beautifully maintained pitches, which are cared for by our wonderful grounds men Derek and Bill.

The facilities include three exceptional full size rugby pitches (one with spectator stand) and a further four junior rugby pitches
Home to the biggest rugby 7s tournament in the world, the RFU considers our pitches to be the best in the south of England.

A further six beautifully maintained football pitches are open both to the public and for professional team training sessions.
Users of the pitches have included premiership, championship and league teams. Chapel Gate is also home to Bournemouth’s own AFC Bournemouth Centre of Excellence.

Chapel gate also has two full sized floodlit astro pitches which play host to our home hockey club, Bournemouth Hockey. These are available for private hire by 1/3, 1/2 or full size for a variety of sports activities.

Please note that all pitches must be paid for at time of booking, and cancellation within 24 hours notice of the hire will not be refunded except due to weather conditions.
